Architects Marta Bastianello, Ludovica Costa, Francesca Marchetti and Anna Fabro, sharing skills, passion and sensitivity, offer their clients a tailor-made service: thanks to a careful analysis of the context, they guarantee targeted answers that enhance the peculiarities and the history of each building in a contemporary key, giving a fluid and harmonious dimension to living.

Bastianello / Costa / Marchetti / Fabro studio, evolution and continuity of BMMC architecture, founded in Milan in 1999, deals with architectural design of private residences, period houses, offices and public spaces.

Sensitive to architectural values ​​and formal balance, their works do not give up dialogue with the practical and organizational aspects of space, interpreting the most diverse needs in an aesthetic and functional sense.

The sophisticated attention to detail and the rigorous choice of materials, colors and finishes are at the heart of their projects. Thanks to twenty years experience, the studio has a consolidated network of expert craftsmen, carpenters, marble workers and upholsterers able to satisfy any need of the most demanding customers.

The variety of training paths and experiences gained, both individually and together, allows architects to follow construction sites of different sizes and types, from single private homes to larger scale projects such as the Pavilion Ireland of Expo 2015 or urban as Piazza Anita Garibaldi to Baggio.

Personal CV

Marta Bastianello

Born in Venice and in 1991 she graduated in architecture at IUAV.
After having gained experience first in Treviso with architect Luciano Gemin and then in Milan at Gregotti Associati International, she opened her own studio in Milan.
The composition of the studio team over the years changes but, remains and consolidates, a tailor-made residential project philosophy.
Over time, her attention has focused on the theme of the private home: her challenge and her main target is to implement her clients wishes and needs turning them into architecture, in a beautiful and rational space to live. What distinguishes her work is the design of the spaces, cut out to make the most of the potential of the layout, the attention to detail, the choice of materials, respect for the context, so that each project is unique and taylor-made.

Ludovica Costa

Born in Genoa in 1968, where she graduated in Architecture. In 1993 she moved to Milan to work first for Ignazio Gardella studio and, later, from 1996, for Gregotti Associati International, where she was involved in the project for the Pirelli Headquarters in Milan Bicocca, the project for the A4 motorway and the project for the “Grandi Stazioni” competition. At the same time, she has been teaching at the University of Architecture in Genoa as assistant professor of Architectural Design to Prof. Enrico Pinna.
In 2000 she began her own business dealing with design and renovation of residential and tertiary buildings and in 2004 she joined BMMC architecture studio.
While dealing with a project, she pays great attention to the context by combining design aesthetic quality with the quality of living. She is a keen supporter of energy saving in construction and has taken part to various seminars, including Casaclima and the project of the Province of Genoa “Condomini Intelligenti”.

Francesca Marchetti

Francesca Marchetti is an architect and interior designer.
Born in Udine in 1969, she graduated from Milan Polytechnic and after working at the Gregotti Associati International, in 1999 she founded Bastianello-Marchetti-Montevecchi studio. In five years time the studio evolved into BMMC architecture, with the addition of architect Ludovica Costa, and finally gaines the current configuration.
Her style, both for the interior and for the exterior, is characterized by simple and clean lines. Careful research into the quality of materials, finishing techniques and light are the peculiarities of each project.
The work process is carried out according to a punctual organization and a rigorous but always creative procedure. She is very careful to the needs of her customer with whom she establishes a privileged dialogue on which to frame the plot of each project.

Anna Fabro

She was born in Genoa, where she graduated in Architecture in 1993.
After a year in Paris with Mario Cucinella, she moved to Milan, where she worked for six years in the Ottavio Di Blasi Associati studio and, from 2001 to 2004, again with Cucinella as head of the Artistic Direction and assistant of the Works Management of the restructuring of a large real estate complex in via Bergognone 53.
In 2005 she started working on her own, taking part to international architecture and design competitions.
From 2011 she joins BMMC architecture in the new premises in via Morigi 9.
Since 2010 she is registered in the List of Energy Certificates of the Lombardy Region buildings.
Between 2014 and 2015 she is in Expo, where she works with Milan Engineering on the project of the Ireland Pavilion and with Mario Cucinella architects as Works Manager for the Granarolo pavilion.
